My name is Ebony and I am a 25 year old woman who truly loves food. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill for a few years (did not finish, haha) and joined the Navy not long after. I am currently an Air Traffic Controller stationed in Hawaii. I created this blog because I have loved food and restaurants since I was young. All of my jobs in high school and college were in restaurants, and as a child I dressed up as a chef for Halloween one time. I look forward to going to culinary school and one day own a vegetarian restaurant. I was a vegetarian for about 2 years, and now I am pescatarian, however it has not hindered my appetite but instead freed my palate! I absolutely love cooking especially when I can bake or stuff something. I love making preserves, pastas, and croquettes the most.
Although I will be making restaurant/food reviews I will say that I am not “qualified”, however I know good food and am a firm believer in supporting local businesses. All of the restaurants I will be reviewing are local (as in not a huge corporation so no Outback Steakhouses or Paneras) and vegetarian friendly. Reviewing these restaurants hopefully will encourage everyone to eat local and try out the vegetarian options.
